Manufacturing Process
Silicone Leather Crafts Mats are cut from silicone leather using a coating process. Liquid silicone rubber is evenly coated onto the surface of release paper (creating the leather texture) using a reverse coating process. This is then laminated to a base fabric, dried at high temperature for cross-linking and curing, and finally the release paper is peeled off, resulting in a structurally stable finished silicone leather product. Then, based on the mat’s dimensions, a cutting die is made to cut it into specific shapes.
